DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS?
Local author’s book, ESTATE OF HORROR, tells a true and personal tale of the paranormal that will entertain and frighten believers and skeptics alike.
HAVERTOWN, PA – (February, 2014) - With one telephone call, Pennsylvania entrepreneur and author Anita Jo Intenzo’s life was changed forever. The doctor on the other end of the line informed her that her good friend was in the hospital, unconscious and not likely to be alive for long. With his passing, he would leave a legacy that the author has now documented in her just released book, ESTATE OF HORROR, A True Story of Haunting, Hatred and a Horrific Family Secret.
When Anita was told that her friend, Paul, chose her to be the Executor of his estate, she knew there would be work involved but she could not have imagined the reality of what she would face in the months ahead. It began with dealing with her friend’s extreme hoarding, a difficult task as she undertook the responsibility to clean out and sell his house.
But it soon became evident that the hoarding was the least of her challenges. A few months into the back-breaking cleanup, the author and her son – who was with her in this daunting task from day one – encountered their first paranormal experience when items began flying from one side of a room to the other. It was just the start of these experiences and with each passing month, the episodes escalated, becoming even more frightening. The author and the many witnesses to the activity began to document the experiences through video, audio recordings and photos to try to understand what was happening. But they knew they needed more help.
Could a local paranormal investigation group find answers for the author, as she wondered, at times, if she was imagining the activity? And would the author be able to deal with the emotional challenges she would face, the startling news she would learn, and the questioning of the bounds of a 30-year friendship.
The answers – and more – are in ESTATE OF HORROR, a book for ghost “hunters” and believers in the possibility and existence of the ghostly realm. More information is available at the author’s website at www.anitajointenzo.com, with links to purchase the book. ESTATE OF HORROR is also available at Amazon.com, in trade paperback format and soon, in a Kindle version.
